About Our Client

Our client maintains one of the largest iron foundries in the United States and are well known for their large breadth of services provided under a single roof. This organization has specialized in casting design and production of ductile, gray, and austempered ductile iron products. Their capabilities range from light, thin-walled castings to highly-cored, heavy-sectioned castings for a wide range of industries. Beyond their impressive production capabilities, our client is equally well known for company culture and investing in their employees' futures as well.

Job Description

  • Manage Outside Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Managers
  • Responsible for market strategy
  • Occasionally travel with reps to customer sites
  • Hire and train new sales employees
  • Provide detailed sales reports to VP of Sales on a semi-annual basis
  • Maintain detailed books of individual sales representatives' performance

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing sales team in the metals space
  • MBA preferred, Bachelor's required in business, engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of success
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
