My client is a leading France retail group, and its business also expand to wine & spirits, auto and finance system.

Job Description

Commerce
As Category leader he is the Key person, to define setup and control the commerce strategy and its implementation.

Range
In line with the company strategy, and market survey he built the range
Thanks to the support of the category specialist, he select the best items , and differentiation range
With his team he built the technical sheets, and display the products online
He will prepare the yearly assortment review.
He will follow the item efficiency and take the necessary actions

Price
Based on regular market survey on Identified competitors, he ensure the price positioning of the category
He ensure that prices are the same in all channels ( market places/ Off Line/ On line)

Promotion
In line with company and E commerce marketing plan. He proposed the promotion plan, and ensure the Promotion SP for all channels
As common range for Offline/ Online. He opens and controls cleaning stock operation
He will negotiate promotions offer with the suppliers

O2O & Marketing
As Category leader he built with the support of marketing team, the Hyper O2O plan
In line with ecommerce Marketing plan, and with is team, he attend and support the organization of O2O events.
He is looking for new events opportunities, and discuss organization with marketing team
Thanks to his market knowledge , he is looking for new media communication,
He ensure that his team his provided on time the relevant content to marketing team.
In line with marketing, he propose banners communication plan ,and help to validate the design
Training: He will provide the products training contents to O2O teams, for every events

Customer:
He is listing his customer and propose the necessary actions

He follow the customer service VOC reports
He contact customer directly if required (technical information, VIP, C&C…)
He helps Customer service to provide the most accurate answer in the quickest time'

Sourcing/ Negotiation:
As Leader of the category, and in charge of the range definition, he will
ensure the sourcing and buying organization
He is in charge of the category profitability

Sourcing:
He will set up as sourcing strategy, DS, local, importers…. In order the create differentiation and improve price positioning, quality and margin
He will follow the negotiation, and the results achievement
Negotiation:
In line with the Purchasing Department, he will follow the negotiation target achievement with local suppliers, for both Online, and Offline channels
He will ensure the category profitability

Procurement/ Logistic;
He will ensure the range definition order achievement
He will ensure that the permanent range, and promotion range are always available ,

Order:
On project initial stage , he will organize the range order achievement plan, and results
For DS items, or common stock warehouse, he prepare forcast quantities, for permanent and promotion items
He will ensure that the product will be available on time, taking in account import procedure and time if needed

Replenishment
For the DS, or common warehouse permanent range , he will follow the replenishment plan

Stock;
With the support of operation manager, He will control the company stock level, and take the relevant actions with suppliers if required

Quality;
He will ensure that the products are in line with the project category quality standard.
He will follow the quality complaints with suppliers, and solving action.

Web customer experience;
With the support of the IT system manager, and in line with the ecommerce strategy, He will propose web experience improvement plan, and follow it's achievement
Page and web site design ( own website and market places)
Customer experience
Customer information
Customer service….
He will help to validate the web improvement

Management:
In line with the ecommerce global objectives, he prepare his category
Objectives,

He follow the KPI, and he is responsible of the Category P&L

Team management
He manage his team is line with the company values, and ecommerce global organization rules

He align the job , to the jab description
Check the team job and make regular assessment
To train the new staff,

Synergy
He is in permanent contact and communication with synergy leader, and synergy experts, to follow and improve
