We are looking for an Electrical Engineer that is organized, personable, able to manage several design projects concurrently. Successful applicants will be driven and excel as part of a highly dynamic cross-functional engineering team. We value commitment, passion and out of the box creativity. The successful individual will be part of a close-knit group with full exposure and involvement in all aspects of the company.
*Specification and operational parameter definitions
*Component selection and specifications
*Schematic, PCB and electronic interface design
*Prototype and validation testing
*Trouble shooting to component level on new and existing designs
*Performance analysis and review
*Review of specifications and requirements
*Interfacing with customer, marketing and design staff as required
*Developing Product Development Plan
*Feasibility analysis and review
*Cost and Budget analysis and justification
*Design and development scheduling
*Production and purchasing support
The Successful Applicant
Education: Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, (Masters Preferred) or equivalent ABET accredited program; 10+ years of experience developing and designing electronics in military or aerospace applications. Lighting design experience is desired.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Mentor Graphics PADs, LABVIEW
*Strong communications skills - both verbal and written.
