Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Start Up Manager who will immerse themselves within the tech industry. This role is to represent the value proposition for clients and business partners of participating in our cutting edge startup program at our world class events.

If you are a proven sales executive with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals, and are looking for a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that rewards success, we would like to speak with you. This unique role will get you exposed some of the most exciting emerging tech companies and trends. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong high volume selling skills along with the ability to self-source leads through a combination of cold-calling, networking and mining existing databases. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal relationship and presentation skills are a must. If you are intellectually curious, a strong negotiator and are always looking for the next sale, we would like to welcome you and your expertise to our team!

This position requires frequent client contact and the ability to manage several projects at once. You'll be challenged with developing sales activity and creating new opportunities for customers, as well as managing relationships onsite at live events.

The Entry Sales Manager/ Start Up Manager will:

  • Exceed sales targets.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers at start up organizations and sell high volume, low cost deals.
  • Work with Start Ups in some of the most exciting areas of tech development to help them bring their ideas to market
  • Build relationships with partners; create partnership proposals to add value to the Origins Program and help them meet their business needs.
  • Identify key players in the startup space and present sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue for the program.
  • Attend competitive events and meet ups to identify and network with key prospects.

The Successful Applicant

To be the Entry Sales Manager/ Start Up Manager San Francisco you need:

  • 4 year college degree
  • A minimum of 1 years sales experience
  • Knowledge of the technology market is preferred
  • Creative "out of the box" thinking abilities
  • Computer literacy, strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; professional and business savvy demeanor
  • High energy and can-do attitude
  • Must be willing to meet with clients and partners in the Silicon Valley/ San Francisco area
