About Our Client

Registered Broker Dealer who provides third-party research to its parent bank.

Job Description

- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an Equity Research Supervisory Analyst with a U.S. broker-dealer or investment bank;

- Read, Edit & Approve research reports, daily commentary, quarterly and semi-annual publications, conference and marketing materials;

- Review marketing packets, briefing books, analyst teach-ins (non-deal and deal-related). Review and approve public appearances, non-deal events, analyst field trips and equity research employee personal trades;

- Clear and approve research against restricted Watch Lists/Restricted Lists;

- Maintain equity capital markets and investment banking disclosures for research production;

- Review email communications of research personnel;

- Familiarity with leading equity valuation techniques as well as forecast earnings and cash flows;

- Providing on-going advisory, training and monitoring activities in support of equity capital markets and equity research coverage/production;

- Extensive knowledge of SRO and SEC rules and regulations relating to equity capital markets and research production and distribution;

The Successful Applicant

- Bachelor's Degree required.

- Prior experience as an editor and/or equity research analyst helpful.

- Capable of reviewing, synthesizing and assessing large quantities of disparate information efficiently.

- Strong editing and proofreading skills with ability to mentor and advance research analyst output.

- Series 16 required, Series 7, 24, 86/87 helpful but not required.

- Proven analytical skills, understanding and demonstrated product knowledge of research coverage and production practices.
