About Our Client

Fast growing, Private Equity backed US company in the Oil and Gas sector, which recently tripled in size due to a several acquisitions. The company provides oilfield services throughout the US and Canada and is currently increasing market share across all major oil producing regions.

Job Description

  • Provide hands on financial and commercial support to line operations
  • Develop, implement, and manage the cost analysis process as well as other reporting (KPIs, labor analysis, materials, etc)
  • Develop and manage the cyclical budgeting process by product line
  • Prepare reports of actuals-to-budget variance analysis
  • Work to identify strategic CAPEX opportunities - new crew, new product lines, etc.
  • Identifying areas of strategic and operational improvements across the business
  • Manage onsite internal controls such as capital spending, inventory, etc.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors degree in accounting required; CPA qualification is a big plus
  • 7-10 years total work experience in progressive finance roles
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas service sector is required
  • FP&A/controlling experience directly supporting operations required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
  • ERP system experience
