Job Description

Financial Analyst role for leading media company located in New York City will entail:

  • Publish daily and weekly reports
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reserve
  • Analyze expenses and investigate trends and variances
  • Assist with forecast and budget related issues
  • Build models in Excel
  • Assist with month end close
  • Run financial reports out of SAP for month-end close
  • Analyze profitability by brand and investigate any abnormalities
  • ad hoc analysis

The Successful Applicant

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of finance experience.
  • BA in Finance or similar discipline.
  • Excel and PowerPoint mastery required.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to quickly collect, interpret, analyze and present financial data in an accurate and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills providing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under tight time-frames.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
