Job Description

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports for the entire company.
  • Dynamic systems development to monitor real time impacts on costs and profitability leading to actionable proactive solutions development.
  • Understanding of the financial effects of operating decisions, with the ability to explain and educate other Senior Managers.
  • Provide strategic management and procedures in the areas of accounting, finance, and tax in order to maintain adequate accounting processes, policies and internal controls to ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting.
  • Analyze, recommend and implement improvements to ensure the integrity of internal financial controls in conjunction with executive management and outside auditors to accommodate significant growth.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial operating reports and provide analyses of reports.
  • Analyze financial impact of major business decisions and operational issues affecting the business and issue timely reports as required.
  • Deliver sound economic financial plan for short-term and long range forecasts.
  • Prepare the annual budget and set financial targets.
  • Oversee inventory levels and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Lead special projects requiring strong management skills and ability to perform and present complex financial analyses.
  • Demonstrate good interdepartmental relationships, as well as liaisons with suppliers and overseas agents, makes customers and their needs a primary function of one's action and decisions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to employ a range of different techniques to coach, lead and develop staff, links employee development to individual organization objectives.
  • Shows initiative when handling problems, ensures issues are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner, and implements measures to eradicate identified weaknesses in order to refine and improve processes to internal and external customers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree highly preferred.
  • CPA Qualification strongly preferred.
  • Five years plus of management experience and professional experience in the rental equipment industry.
  • Selection and development of subordinates.
  • Multi-plant, multi-process (Manufacturing, storage, transportation) experience.
  • Hands on, insightful financial management experience.
  • Rapid growth experience.
