Our client is a national GC that has a strong pipeline of stick-frame ground up hotel projects across the southern united states. They have a strong reputation of delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Job Description


  • Manage Subcontractors and Trades in order to meet deadlines and milestones of aggressively paced project schedules
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Owners
  • Review construction drawings and shop drawings for job feasibility
  • Ensure adherence to strict safety standards ensuring Subcontractors are properly trained and knowledgeable with OSHA and safety related areas
  • Document project status and report to Owners and Project Manager
  • Traveling role

Project Manager

  • Provide overall administrative and technical management of project
  • Ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
  • Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, and subcontractors
  • Purchase requisitions, change requests, etc.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation files
  • Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
  • Based in Tennessee, South Carolina, or Texas

The Successful Applicant


  • 10+ years experience as Superintendent on ground up commercial construction projects
  • Completed three (3) or more ground up hotel projects from start to finish
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes and safety laws
  • Knowledge of permitting, review and inspection process
  • Ability to forecast scheduling challenges and present possible solutions
  • Willing to travel across the US to support project pipeline

Project Manager

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods)
  • Ability to implement and follow company policies, procedures and standards is essential
  • 5+ years experience as a Project Manager on ground up commercial projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required
  • Willing to relocate to Tennessee, South Carolina, or Texas
