Job Description

* Create and put in place company policies

* Hire and screen new talent

* On board and off board employees

* Build the HR department from the ground up

* Consults with leadership on the implementation of HR strategies

* Ensures competitive and consistent pay practices

* Maintains working knowledge and compliance

* Assists with training or communication

* Maintain and update employee files

The Successful Applicant

15+ years experience in the HR department

8+ years in a managerial role in the HR department

Experience with union and non-union

Knowledge of the generally accepted HR policies and practices

Understanding of state and federal employment laws

Strong written and oral communications skills

Very skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
