Job Description

  • Partner with account leadership in the execution and delivery of value-added HR services, including but not limited to: performance management, employee complaints, investigations, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation planning, and project management
  • Analyze and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Provide oversight to property acquisition processes.
  • Work with the broader HR team on key priorities and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration.
  • Collaborate with local and broader HR team to implement policy updates, process improvements, onboarding practices, and training activities.
  • Work with the broader HR team on key priorities and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration.
  • Develop customized training programs as needed
  • Collaborate with recruiting partners to identify creative ways to attract skilled talent to fill open positions across the US.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years HR Generalist/Consultant experience with diverse employee population
  • 5 years direct employee relations experience with demonstrated ability to bring resolution
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment law
  • Experience in real estate, property management or professional services, a plus
  • Union experience a plus!
  • MS Office proficiency and HRIS systems experience, specifically, Workday preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
  • Superior relationship skills
  • Coaching and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong business acumen
