Our client is a global luxury beauty services firm and they have been around for over 20 years.

Job Description

  • Provide guidance, advice and coaching to managers on general human resources issues such as organizational design, recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation and benefits and employee relations.
  • Guide and advise managers on performance management and work with them to develop appropriate solutions, including handling disciplinary and grievance advice and support
  • Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
  • Works with the business to lead on the employee engagement survey for the unit and supports managers to identify and implement actions
  • Works with the business to build a culture and coaches people managers and leaders on strategies for nurturing their talent, development of their people and tackling team and individual performance issues. Works with the business unit on talent identification, development and coaching and the end to end performance review process including the facilitation of levelling and succession planning.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HRIS/Payroll provider and the company
  • Ensure accuracy and consistent updating of the Payroll, Benefits, and Time Off through our HRIS system including entering all sick, personal and vacation time into the system for all employees
  • Work with different internal hiring managers to develop new and innovative recruitment strategies
  • Assists with the full-cycle recruiting process. Sources candidates, reviews applications, conducts interviews, selects candidates for hire, and maintains communication with all applicants
  • Creates and updates job descriptions. Develops creative and engaging job posts, and posts to the company website and approved job boards
  • Maintains relationships with all recruitment agencies and identifies new agencies to develop relationships with.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-4 years of HR administration
  • 1-2 years of high volume recruitment experience
  • Spanish fluency is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field required
  • Excellent sourcing and interviewing skills
  • Extensive knowledge in the following areas:
  • Benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, transit/parking, short-term and long-term disability, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and roll up your sleeves attitude
  • Must be willing to travel to Europe a 3-5 times a year
