Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment for all positions in New York and London offices
    • Provide superior customer service to hiring managers, assisting them with position descriptions, job postings, sourcing, and applicant communication
    • Conduct screening interviews for all-level positions
    • Coordinate pre-employment background check process; prepare offer letters and other new hire correspondence
    • Coordinate immigration process if needed
    • Complete new hire onboarding and orientation process
    • Coordinate and oversee the internship program and on-campus recruiting
  • HR Operations and Systems maintenance
    • Maintain personnel files (digital and paper) and job description database
    • Maintain organizational charts and employee lists
    • Update Employee Handbooks and other HR content
    • Manage and monitor employee paid leave programs
  • Deliver relevant and competitive benefit programs that support the client's ability to attract, engage and retain talent
    • Evaluate benefit contract quotes and generate preliminary and final benefits reports and spreadsheets
    • Complete benefits administration tasks, including processing enrollments, terminations and changes on benefit plan websites and preliminary review of monthly invoices
    • Assist employees with basic benefits questions and requests for information
    • Work with insurance providers and brokers as needed to resolve issues

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related fiel
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources is required; PHR/SPHR certification is a plus
  • Prior international (preferably UK) HR experience is highly desirable
  • Strong prior domestic recruiting experience is required; international recruiting experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of human resource practices and policies, and applicable state and federal laws
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism, discretion, trustworthiness and good judgment in sensitive and confidential matters is required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, a self-starter
  • Well-developed decision-making, prioritization, and problem solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
