Job Description

HRIS Specialist Responsibilities Include (Not Limited To):

HR Data Analytics:

- Evaluate, report and analyze data to interpret the effectiveness of new initiatives, programs, policies and procedures as well as to identify trends and make predictions

- Analyze reports generated to identify areas of needed improvement, and help dictate the quarterly agenda of the Human Resource Department as a whole

- Collaborate with HRIS to leverage data available from all HR systems

- Plan and conduct end to end analysis including data sourcing and validation

- Communicate observations through data, analytics and thoughtful interpretation of findings

HR Reporting:

- Generate complex reports and perform data analysis using HRIS data in HRIS and Excel

- Integrate disparate data from multiple locations (systems, tools)

- Liaise with Benefits, Payroll and other departments to understand business issues and advise how data could support business functions

- Act as the senior point of contact for all HRIS inquiries, especially with regards to business related questions, and effectively communicate data in an understandable fashion

- Use knowledge of best practices to generate and retieve the most relevant reports and data for business purposes

HR Special Projects:

- Provide support to HR benefits and payroll functions as neneded

- Manage ad hoc analysis requests related to project and project data

- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues for ad hoc projects

The Successful Applicant

Successful HRIS Specialist Qualificiations and Characteristics:

- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

- Experience in the the legal or professional services industry experience strongly preferred

- 2-3 years in a similar role

- Knowledge of and experience with HRIS core software including PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP or Workforcenow

- Expert Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access)

- Demonstrated ability to interface with internal and external business partners

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Advance organization with a meticulous attention to detail

- Exposure to HR functions a big plus
