Job Description

  • Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human resources
  • Manage staff vacancies, recruitment, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors on the interview process in identifying high quality applicants
  • Work closely with CEO to measure and maintain employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement
  • Responsible for maintaining employee information policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, paths for promotion and employee benefits
  • Maintain records and compile reports on personnel-related data such as new hires, transfers, performance goals and periodic reviews
  • Budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience as HR manager with proven track record of success
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics, HR systems and company culture
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven capability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships throughout all levels of the company
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
