My client is a world leader in the electronic component manufacturing industry that specializes in the destribution, control and availability of the power supply to low voltage energy systems.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Engage with external recruitment partners for key positions.
  • Align recruitment practices at a regional level.
  • Ensure all open positions are relevant and consistent with the organizational objectives.
  • Grow and maintain a network of candidates for key positions through regular meetings and interactions.
  • Establish strong relationships with search firms by meeting them regularly.
  • Set up and track induction of new employees.

Training/learning & Development

  • Set up, deploy and deliver the training plan on budget each year together with the US subsidiary Managers.
  • Select training partners: management and negotiation of L&D suppliers at a regional level.
  • Set up training programs according to the agreed plan and budget.

Career Development

  • Advise managers on talent identification.
  • Provide guidance to managers on Human Resources issues and on their own personal development.
  • Develop plans and promote internal mobility at a regional level.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitiveness.
  • Evaluate procedures and solutions to improve human resources data management and ensure it is aligned with local business needs and corporate requirements.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for the region and perform monthly cost analysis.
  • Recommend and establish company policies and procedures.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee discussions with management, including termination of employment, from a legal and human perspective.
  • Detect changes in the social climate and propose ways to improve it.
  • Prevent and manage internal conflict.
  • Ensure fair treatment of employees and adherence to local labor law and local/Group HR policies.
  • Perform disciplinary actions (warnings, dismisslas, legal disputes)
  • Advise individuals on career related decisions.

Business Partner

  • As a member of local Committee(s), deliver consistent follow-up and feedback on HR topics.
  • Monitor key HR indicators, deliver written reports, provide commentary, provide HR related advice and guidance.


  • Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Put in place a sustainable HR structure and implement policies to support regional needs and future development.

Key HR Processes

  • Steer annual HR agenda, including: Budget Preparation, Annual Performance Appraisal (APA), Salary Review, People Review.
  • Development of customized human capital plans.
  • Archive and update employee data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR policies and tools through feedback to the global HR Support Functions.

The Successful Applicant

Masters Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Human Resources.
