Job Description

IHC Financial Reporting Analyst has the following responsibilities:

  • Produce the IHC and CUSO Balance sheet and Income statement.
  • Prepare variance analysis files and understand and document the reason for variances.
  • Perform controls/consistency checks to ensure the accuracy of reports prepared.
  • Ensure all processes are properly documented.
  • Actively participate in pre-close activities (i.e., mapping) and process improvements.
  • Assist with the inter-company reconciliation process.
  • Participate in developing the future IHC production process.
  • Contribute with setting up the IHC close process.
  • Participate in testing of new processes/tools.
  • Be involved with the IHC chart of account project focusing on the UAT testing phase.
  • Ad-hoc tasks

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors in accounting, finance or economics preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the investment banking sector (Accounting /Reporting /Financial Controller)

  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • US GAAP/Consolidations experience
  • Good understanding of financial statements and experience in financial reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, word)
  • Strong organizational skills, rigorous, and self-disciplined
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e. writing, listening, presentation)
  • Enthusiastic and a team player with very strong work ethic
  • Ability to build and maintain relationship with various stakeholders of the project
  • Knowledge of Oracle products (HFM) is a plus but not required
  • Basic project management skills
