My client is urgently seeking an inside sales representative with a strong technical background to grow their business and expand their reach. This role is an inside sales business development role, and is an excellent opportunity with a strong career path for an Engineer with a few years of experience and looking to break into a sales position. Previous sales experience is a plus
- Conduct needs analysis to uncover customer needs and requirements for solutions
- Serve as first line of pre and post-sales support to customers
- Perform retrofit and up-fit work on customer applications
- Lead customer RFQ process and provide technical input
- Work cross-functionally with project teams
- Identify new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
- Execute the sales strategy, develop new customers and manage customer forecast.
- Periodically report on customer's activity and business development.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering Preferred)
- Must have high technical aptitude and able to speak knowledgeably on technical applications
- Excellent communication skills
- High sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Trustworthy and strong ethics
