About Our Client

Our client for the Inside Sales Rep role is a leading sports training and sports event management company in the Midwest. The two founders of the company were Division 1 athletes and played 10 years at the professional level after being drafted. This client and their team is committed to the training and development of young athletes across the nation in preparation for collegiate athletics. In addition to training and developing athletes, they also sponsor over 200 club teams, organize tournaments, showcases, clinics, and competitive sports camps. Their sport is growing at a rate of 100% year over year, and the company is growing with the market. They are expanding in new regional markets across the country and looking for a Sales Rep to lead the way.

Job Description

  • Maintain strong relationships with previous and current customers in maintain attendance to events
  • Develop and convert leads into revenue generating customers that will attend company sponsored events
  • Assist in the organization of events with event management teams
  • Travel to events to represent company and see events are executed according to plan
  • Develop and execute market and business development strategies with Co-Founders
  • Train and develop sales team members to drive overall sales team growth

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (Sales, Marketing, Sports Management, or related)
  • 1 - 3 years of proven sales experience
  • Must have played Lacrosse in high school and/or college
  • MUST have a passion for sports
  • Strong influencing power and closing skills
  • High energy, confidence, great judgement and decision making skills
  • Passion for sales and high level of resilience
