Job Description

As an internal sales coordinator your role and responsibilities will be:

  • Handling all customer queries
  • Provide customer support throughout
  • Build strong relationships and rapport
  • Sales support including quotations, sales orders and purchase orders
  • Coordinating the end to end process of orders
  • Quote negotiation
  • Scheduling and coordinating shipments
  • Following up on lead times
  • Lead generation
  • Up-selling of products and services
  • Identifying sales opportunities

The Successful Applicant

To be a successful applicant for this position you will ideally possess the following attributes and skill;

  • Medium experience within the logistics industry ideally gained from a customer service or internal sales capacity
  • Previous exposure to the removals or transport industry will also be considered
  • Understanding of air/sea/land freight operations
  • Ability to identify and confidently up-sell products is highly desirable
  • Understanding of sales support process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self starter, motivated and desire to achieve
  • Efficient problem solver with a proactive approach to problems
  • The ability to act with a sense of urgency and multitask effectively
