Job Description

  • Perform vulnerability assessments across the Health System using IT Security tools and procedures
  • Detect risks and remediate vulnerabilities to ensure compliance and audit readiness
  • Provide reports and recommendations in an attempt to avoid previously identified gaps and risks
  • Facilitate corrective plans and monitor performance and compliance of risk remediation tasks (weekly status on performance, highlight outstanding issues)
  • Communicate with partners and vendors to ensure compliance of systems and applications
  • Assist in the coordination of internal/external PCI compliance and develop/implement controls that detect any existing PCI gaps

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, Audit, or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred
  • CISSP, CISA, GIAC, or a related certification is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding/knowledge of regulations such as HIPPA and PCI-DSS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
