Job Description



Responsibilities



* Develop and maintain the core Java trading platform components

* Develop and integrate automated unit tests for software developed

* Review and recommend architectural improvements

* Participate in design sessions with development team and business analysts

* Troubleshoot production impacting issues providing timely solutions

1. Knowledge of lock free algorithms and techniques

2. Ability to develop software that is sympathetic to modern CPU architectures

Position Requirements



* B.S. degree in a computer science or related area (M.S. degree preferred)

* 5+ years development experience in FX or other capital markets environment

* Core proficiency in Java development

* Strong knowledge of object orient programming and design



* Strong knowledge of ultra low-latency programming, and lock free algorithms

* Strong knowledge of UDP and TCP network protocols

* Solid understanding of developing software sympathetic to modern CPU architectures

* Solid understanding of FIX Engines and understanding of FIX Protocol

* Solid understanding of Linux Operating Systems

* Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases

* Experience with scripting languages

* Experience with SDLC processes
