Job Description

The Junior AML Consultant responsibilities include:

  • Conducting AML investigations for potentially suspicious activity
  • Investigating and reviewing alerts
  • Managing transaction monitoring and reporting as related to money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Conducting enhanced due diligence on high risk customers
  • Utilizing Lexis Nexis and World Check to enhance research capacities
  • Providing detailed evaluation of risk related to Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)

The Successful Applicant

The Junior AML Consultant should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • CAMs certification preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in compliance and financial services
  • Knowledge of transaction monitoring processes
  • Strong research and investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently but also in a team setting
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
