My client are a multinational full cycle design and manufacturing firm based out of CT.

Job Description

  • Develop relationships with key customers; understand their business, their strategy, their needs, and upcoming opportunities; influence their processes and decision making to benefit the organization
  • Develop key account plans for assigned accounts; implement account strategy, focusing on growth
  • Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the customers' market; keep informed of industry news and trends, products, services, and competitors
  • Work with customers to create accurate forecast to support capacity planning
    • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to existing and prospective customers
    • Provide product, service, technical, and engineering information by answering questions and requests for specific customer requirements
    • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
    • Implement and manage the timely delivery of key customer programs including communication strategies and issue resolution
    • Conduct reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate customers' requirements and usage of account; determine services and products used satisfying the customers' needs as well as the organization's objectives
    • Document account activity, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers; maintain forecasting reports
  • Other job related duties as assigned

  • Strong teaming skills
  • MS Office applications


  • BS in Marketing, Management, or equivalent; Engineering a plus
  • 5 years sales experience; 2-5 years working in related field
