About Our Client

Our client is an industry leader in the Consumer Products space. With expansive growth over the past year and an anticipated spike again in 2016, they are looking to add a Logistics Planner to their growing team.

Job Description

Primary responsibilities of the Logistics Planner include:

  • Developing, analyzing and publishing operational and exception reporting
  • Assisting in the development of the area KPI's, and reporting on variances as determined by business area needs
  • Presenting results to the business unit leader in preferred tool
  • Developing and maintaining annual and monthly merchandising plans

The Successful Applicant

The successful Logistics Planner applicant has:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics planning and route optimization
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills- Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
  • Should be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills
