About Our Client
My client is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business for over 100 years. Successful operations exit throughout 5+ regions throughout the Southern U.S.
Outside Sales Representative will work with an existing customer base along with establishing new customer accounts through all sales avenues.
Sales Reps will be responsible for:
Develop new client accounts through cold calls, working potential customer lists, contacting subcontractors in the area and contacting companies who previously rejected proposals
Service clients to build mutually beneficial relationships that establish My client as the client's preferred provider. Achieve annual sales and gross profit plan for assigned accounts.
Negotiate pricing levels according to Company directions to encourage business dealings with the Company.
Perform material take-offs for clients to estimate merchandise and material needs as required and according to Company directions. Maintain a refund ratio of less than 5% for all client accounts.
Monitor and analyze competitor's price lists and products, and make product recommendations for company product line.
The Successful Applicant
Candidates must have 3-4 years experience selling in an outside sales capacity within the lumber industry.
Candidates must be able to have strong negotiating skills and be able to perform take-offs.
Candidates must be self motivated and driven and results oriented.
