Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

  • Following and promoting corporate, federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maximizing equipment reliability by performing assigned work orders and PMs
  • Managing contractors and leading other engineers and technicians as required
  • Coordinating operations with production, shipping, and other departments
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical motors
  • Working on A/C powered VFD controllers
  • Providing preventative maintenance tasks based on SMMS software scheduling

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of maintenance manufacturing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required, Siemens S5 and S7 PLC programming a plus
  • Must be knowledgeable of industrial computerized controls, PLC's, variable speed drives, level sensors, limit switches, pressure switches, proximity sensors, photo-electric sensors, and IEC style contractors and starters
  • Able to read and comprehend P&ID schematics and blue prints
  • Comfortable in a standing work environment and able to lift 120 pounds
  • Able to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary
