Our client is an innovative, growing PCB manufacturer that is located near the beautiful Edison, NJ area!

Job Description

The Methods Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Release and create the manufacturing instructions for use on the manufacturing floor
  • Review all CAM work per job
  • Act as a resource with production department on process problems
  • Document and implement Methods Change Notices as documented by production/engineering
  • Carry out any related functions as directed by the Front-end Manager

The Successful Applicant

The preferred candidate for the Methods Engineer will have the following experience and background:

  • 2+ years in the printed circuit board industry at a CAM operator level and/or two years at a shop floor supervisor level (2+ years of experience with process control/engineering in PCB industry)
  • BS in Electronic, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required
  • In-depth knowledge and/or hands-on skills for manufacturing
  • Computer literate with excellent computer skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and set priorities
  • Blue print reading skills
  • Programming skills a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with CAM tools (Genesis, Cam 350), planning tools (Paradigm, Engenix) and impedance modeling tool ( Polar SI 8000) a plus
