About Our Client

A well-established Dallas based owner/developer with their own construction arm is expanding their book of business in the area and is looking to add talented members to their team. They work on Class A, multi-million dollar projects and currently have plans to start several very large projects in the next few months in the Dallas area.

Job Description

The Multifamily Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Providing general direction and oversight to the safe performance of work that meets required quality standards and the established time and scope in the project plan.
  • Assessing and addressing performance issues with jobsite work crews and address performance issues with subcontractors.




Planning and Scheduling

  • Assisting in developing the site plan including; public safety measures; site security; truck routing (inbound and outbound); plan and develop logistics for and overall personnel and material movement within the site.
  • Establishing and maintaining regularly scheduled daily and weekly project team meetings as appropriate for the project.



Relationship Management

  • Leading and motivating members of the project team to compete all phases of work within the schedule and parameters established.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Multifamily Assistant Superintendent position will have strong relationship building skills, excellent planning and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and lead others. The right candidate for this job will have demonstrated success leadership and interpersonal skills with a wide variety of individuals and groups, including clients, subcontractors, individual employees, jobsite teams, and company executives.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ year of direct experience in multifamily construction.
  • Must have demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving abilities, and be effective at building collaborative relationships.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
