About Our Client

Our client is a global organization with an established and growing product portfolio.

Job Description

  • Implement sales initiatives to drive product market share for an established portfolio within the retail channels.
  • Retain and expand the Northeast customer base. (Ahold, Wakefern, Wegman's, Whole Foods, Giant Eagle, Price Chopper, C&S Wholesale).
  • Lead & direct the effort to penetrate & develop key customer contacts and relationships, resulting in successful achievement of the Company's strategic goals & objectives
  • Monitor progress through sales reports, recommend adjustments and implement strategies to achieve the company's goals.
  • Develop and manage forecasts, budget and reporting for senior management.
  • Travel to and attend local and national trade shows. 50-75% Travel.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of 10 + years related sales experience.
  • Knowledge of and key account contacts in the retail trade channel
  • Experience in direct sales management and key account management
  • Experience in the management of Food Brokers
  • Requires strong reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Power Point, Excel and capable of clearly communicating business in a presentation format.
