Our client is a global investment manager; with the office in New York focused on providing US investment opportunity to international business partners. They are a boutique operation that pride themselves on offering innovative and personalized advice, yet a scalable service across multiple countries. Currently an opportunity exists to join this family centric, personable team as the resident Office Manager; a multi-faceted and broad administrative support role!

Job Description

Based on front desk reception, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of the administrative functions of this office. Specifically these duties will include:

  • Answering all incoming phone-calls and email inquiries;
  • Processing and distributing the mail and courier requests;
  • Processing invoices and assisting the finance department with data entry;
  • Scheduling all meetings, conferences and investor road-shows;
  • Coordinating all travel requests for the executive team and partners;
  • Liaising with the international offices regarding scheduling, events and client administration requests;
  • Compiling reports and preparing presentations with assistance from marketing; and
  • Providing support to any other adhoc projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you must possess administrative experience, ideally within a boutique financial services environment. You will have strong MS Office Suite skills, a down to earth, personable and professional demeanor, and be willing to get your hands dirty with anything that is required in the office! You will enjoy a broad position where you have exposure to multiple facets of a business and be looking to make a steadfast commitment to an administrative opportunity in midtown. A Bachelors Degree is necessary.
