About Our Client

The Payroll Specialist - ADP position is located in Amherst, New Hampshire.

Job Description

  • Timely and accurate weekly payroll processing, posting payroll journal entries, and preparing weekly reconciliations to the general ledger.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Prepare payroll reports for federal, state, and/or municipal taxation and census compliance
  • Prepare all payroll related accruals during the month-end general ledger closing process.
  • Register state tax filings for newly hired employees.
  • Prepare relocation reimbursement for payment.
  • Maintain all confidential payroll files including archiving aging files.
  • Prepare month end journal entry and account reconciliation binders.
  • Filing of accounting department documents including but not limited to invoices, expense reports, check vouchers, etc.
  • Other activities and projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate's Degree.
  • Payroll Software System Experience - ADP or related software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience Preferred.
