Job Description

  • Process hourly, weekly and salary payroll per guidelines and in compliance with federal, state and local government regulations.
  • Prepare payroll adjustments: over-payments, expenditure adjustments, non-scheduled items, fringe benefits, and bonus payments.
  • Reconcile and balance payroll activities on a weekly basis.
  • Collect and audit time and attendance data.
  • Assess and apply all payroll policies and procedures relative to employee FLSA and/or union classification.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Associates Degree/Related Experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
  • Ability to process high volume payroll.
  • Ability to communication and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CPP designation preferred.
