Our client is a leading credit fund located in the downtown Chicago loop.

Job Description

The Portfolio Administrator will support the Direct Lending product line in the Chicago office. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative agent activities, daily portfolio cash/position monitoring and various portfolio specific reconciliations. The Portfolio Administrator is a team player who also works well independently and has a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. This individual will have the opportunity to be exposed to the investment operations across our client's product lines. Experience in a loan agency or trustee capacity is preferred.

  • Monitor and process daily activity on administrative agent deals
  • Provide operational support to bank loan managers, analysts and deal teams
  • Consistently meet service level commitments to clientele and management
  • Be the key contact for administrative agent deals, both internally and externally
  • Ensure all agented loan activity is processed and reconciled in accounting system
  • Research any transaction differences with agent banks and custodians

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of back or middle office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to read and understand legal documents such as Credit Agreements
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in all aspects of work, demonstrated attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office suite a plus
  • CLO experience a plus
