Job Description

The Procurement Associate will be responsible for:

  • Daily administration of the procurement system
  • Processing of IT and Facilities purchasing requests/POs into Oracle iprocurement
  • Checking and confirming all account coding in the procurement system
  • Ensuring that all purchases and invoices are coded to the correctly
  • Monitor system cost centers or projects
  • Participate in the reconciliation process for hardware devices and software
  • Assist with the analysis of tenders, obtaining bids from various vendors.
  • Manage and process monthly recurring charges and services including consultancy hours/invoices.
  • Processing of Telecom circuit orders/Invoices/Reporting.
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable, IT and Finance Departments.
  • Assist with Contracts in Service Now
  • Additional data entry as needed
  • To fulfill any additional/ad hoc duties as required meeting with needs of the business.

The Successful Applicant

The Procurement Associate must have:

Associate Degree or work equivalent required * Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience * Minimum of 1-3 years Procurement/Procurement-Project experience * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel * Proved ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * Strong analytical skills * Demonstrated success working in a team environment
