Job Description

  • Reviews and evaluates current manufacturing plan and process, and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations
  • Ability to be "hand-on" and work side by side with Assembly team
  • Ensures all products conform to established customer and company quality standards
  • Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost
  • Manages the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
  • Creates and coordinates various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc)
  • Provides reporting and presents data and conclusions clearly to upper management



  • Management responsibility for a team of 4- 6 associates
  • Ability to visualize and sketch tooling fixtures
  • Provide process improvement know how, methods and conceptual expertise to team.
  • Transfer learning across supply chain team
  • Identify application opportunities for the technical/statistical tools of quality/process improvement.
  • Facilitates training for staff using manufacturing best practices
  • Provide one on one support and technical statistical expertise to team
  • Directs and monitors team to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures
  • Hires, trains, develop and evaluate staff. Collaborate with the company associate & model the values within the department
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for the company brand and products
  • Other accountabilities as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors degree in Engineer or related study
  • 5- 7 plus years of experience in a management role in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to manage others effectively and in line with company values
  • Ability to take charge, drive for results, and make sound decisions quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work both strategically and "hands-on"
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • Solid quantitative analysis skills and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with ability to execute tactically on a day-to-day basis
  • Working knowledge of CAD and/or Solidworks
  • Knowledge of bath/plumbing industry is a plus
