Job Description

Job Responsibilities Understand current state * Work with technology and the strat team to document a list of existing internal tools and existing product ideas * Organize into themes, document technology dependencies (including market data redistribution) * Rationalize system architecture, with a view of forming a roadmap Develop Specifications Write-down the requirements for system enhancements including: * Details on underlying fields; * Mkt Data Dependencies; * Evaluate contracts to ensure there are no data re-distribution issues; * Confirm with Mkt Data Sourcing and Legal where necessary; * For larger tasks, define a data flow diagram and controls that are needed for the trading desk and for client information protection; Drive decisions with LCD, Risk and Licensing Groups * Schedule time with LCD and Risk to review the spec and drive towards sign-off; * Answer detailed questions on implementation; * Revise spec as needed based on their feedback; * Account for necessary controls and disclaimers * Follow internal New Product Approvals process; Coordinate Technology and QA scheduling * Review Spec with the dev team; * Answer their questions on implementation; * Tech will come back with alternate proposals for implementation, which will require going back to the product manager and head of Strats to get a decision; * Once the features are prioritized the feature set for upcoming release; * Define onboarding process for new features; Plan and execute client launch * Work with Sales to agree on a list of Beta clients for the new release; * Prepare a marketing note to clients, along with a tutorial on the new features; * Coordinate with the Marketing team; Coordinate with the Support team, to ensure they are ready to answer questions from clients, when new features are released into production

The Successful Applicant

Other Capabilities Required * Approximately 6-10 years work experience managing technology related to fixed income front office. * The candidate must be self-directed and extremely well organized, able to set objectives and deliver to deadlines with minimal oversight. Knowledge of SPG Products is a strong plus
