Growing organization expanding their Quality function.
Performs in-process inspection and finished product audit to assure production and packaging conformance to specifications and standards.
Performs in-process and finished product documentation review to assure process and product integrity.
Co-ordinates specific customer samples and associated correspondence and quality reports.
Facilitates maintenance of awareness and compliance with cGMP and safety regulations in production, manufacturing and related areas.
Performs periodic inspection of in-process activities on assembly lines (filling and packaging operations); prepares documentation of same for review by QA Group Leader or immediate supervisor.
Reviews completed documentation on Production and Assembly floors including Worksheets, Batch Cards, and any other associated materials for correctness and completeness. Also, documents such review on Audit sheet.
Reviews QA/packaging documents and pull any samples as required per AQL, from Assembly lines.
Signs off on Assembly Line Clearance sheets and review documentation during Lot change.
Performs Code verification on Assembly Line sheet
Participates in Manufacturing/Operations' daily production and packaging schedule
meeting, as directed by immediate supervisor.
Performs finished good audits in the warehouse.
Maintains "General Appearance Samples" for Assembly Line operations.
The Successful Applicant
High School diploma or GED
Two to five years experience in cosmetic, device, food or pharmaceutical inspection process
Good math skills
Ability to read and interpret internal and external sampling plans and effectively report results.
Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
