Job Description

  • Leader of the Company's Los Angeles District Quality Assurance and Control Management.
  • Designer of Corporate Protocols affecting QA/QC performance guidelines and the monitoring, implementation, status and progress of the firm's quality management program.
  • Author of Design and Construction QC Plans for specific projects.
  • Lead for modifications and/or enhancements to the Company's quality program (as needed) by providing definition of minimum work scope and by indicating suitable third party building envelope advisors and specialized third party inspectors.
  • Designer of documentation standards for the programs in close coordination with the firm's Business Solutions.
  • Integration of company protocol (CMiC & BIM 360) to ensure appropriate technology tools are utilized within the quality control mechanism.
  • Follow performance reports and metric analysis to refine quality data and further develop predictive metrics.
  • Periodically conducts site inspections with Project Management Teams.
  • Chair quality control meetings with internal and corporate teams and provide accountability to client groups.
  • Development of the design and construction QC Plan, incorporation and maintenance of the approved Design Schedule.
  • Participation in design meetings, design presentations, design QA meetings, partnering, and other QC meetings as required.
  • Implementation of the DQC & CQC Manuals and remain involved with the project until completion

The Successful Applicant

  • 6-10 years of quality control or assurance experience for commercial projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Quality Control
  • Have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability
  • Must be CQM Certified and other relevant certifications is preferable
  • Understands means and methods of construction associated with the renovation of commercial and institutional buildings
  • Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
  • Must be proficient on the computer and be able to use Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting production, quality and customer service standards in a fast paced construction environment.
