About Our Client
Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager with over $200 billion of assets under management. Based in New York, they have over a 100 year history as an owner and operator of real assets, offering a range of public and private investment products and services. They have more than 700 investment professionals and 50,000 operating employees working in 30 countries around the world.
* Greet and welcome all internal and external visitors, clients and corporate executives * Assist guests with coats, luggage, refreshments, wireless networks, etc. * Direct all internal and external visitors, clients and corporate executives to meeting rooms accordingly * Manage concierge duties, including car service booking, catered meeting requests and assistance with reservations as needed * Swift and courteous acknowledgment and action of all incoming emails from staff; proactive coordination with staff regarding visitors, meetings and meeting requests * Screen all incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate parties; collect and distribute phone messages in close coordination with administrative and executive staff members * Ensure the reception area/office is well maintained in coordination with facilities * Support events coordinator as required to keep meeting rooms fully stocked or picked up after meetings * Direct all internal and external visitors, clients and corporate executives to meeting rooms accordingly
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's Degree required * 2 + year's experience in a receptionist or administrative support role in a busy, corporate setting preferred * Polished, high-end demeanor, tact, diplomacy, composure and discretion * High degree of professionalism, comfortable working in an executive setting * Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills * Consistent attention to detail and accuracy * Strong work ethic, with flexibility to support requests outside of considered job scope * Demonstrates superior self-organization and prioritization of responsibilities and assignments * Works well with team members by sharing responsibilities productively * Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
