Job Description

The Medical Governance Manager will help to improve and embed Medical Governance by:

* Ensuring appropriate application and implementation of Medical Governance policies and practices through adequate communication and training of Medical Governance related activities in the region; ensuring the region is operating within the required governance framework and is prepared for Medical Governance related audits

Support the Regional Medical Director and the Regional Medical Team in the implementation of Medical Governance initiatives

* Ensuring relevant shared service agreements (e.g. PV) are appropriately managed

* Contributing to the development of Medical Governance policies and requirements, which includes representing CH on cross-business teams. Developing supporting SOPs, Ways of Working, and training as appropriate

* Interfacing with key regional functions such as Compliance, Regulatory, Marketing, R&D, etc to ensure appropriate development/implementation of medical governance processes

* Leading development and implementation of Medical Governance related audit/assessment Corrective Action Plans

* Participating in continuous process improvement activities, which includes the evaluation and subsequent recommendation of systems/processes required to meet business need

The role involves interactions with multiple functions and central units, including Pharma, Consumer and Biologicals, and Local Operating Company units. This includes assisting in the identification and understanding of medical-governance-related issues. Pro-activity, with a solution-oriented and collaborative approach are essential skill for this role International travel is required for this position.

The Successful Applicant

BS/BA and at least 5 years experience related to medical governance

knowledge of OTC/consumer healthcare R&D development

Audit /Assessment preparation experience Knowledge of Medical Governance business requirements

Proven self starter with ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision

Ability to facilitate cross functional teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent leadership skills

Change Management skills
