About Our Client

Our client for the Regional Sales Manager opportunity is a global leading provider industrial equipment. Our client specializes in the manufacturing of overpressure protection technology, including rupture disks, specialty valves, and other custom engineered products. Ideal candidate would be coming from a manufacturing rep firm.

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager can work from a home office based anywhere in the Central Plains region (Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri) and will be responsible for continued growth and expansion of the Central region. This individual will be selling direct into customers in Food and Beverage, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemical, Industrial Processing, Biotech, Power Generation, and EPC Firms.

  • Meet/Exceed assigned quarterly and yearly regional sales target
  • To increase revenue and margin level for the territory
  • Execute market and segment growth strategy
  • Conduct territory data analysis
  • Implement project and opportunity forecasting
  • Provide competitive intelligence
  • Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions
  • Provide customer and channel relationship management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors' degree required
  • 3-5 years of technical sales experience within similar markets and industry
  • Experience selling highly technical products and solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communications skills written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 50% within the Central region
