About Our Client

Our client is a global organization targeting to hire a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast.

Job Description

  • Meet and exceed sales goals in specified territory, managing and closing new and existing opportunities.
  • Act as the sales liaison in customer licensing negotiations. Using internal processes and resources, create contract documents as required. Through maintaining thorough knowledge of company products and services, identify customer needs and provide appropriate information, including comprehensive product demonstrations, in order to complete a successful sale.
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times, including but not limited to, timely and appropriate communications via all methods available.
  • Maintain customer information within CRM database and conduct any other administrative processes as required to include reporting and forecasting.
  • Establish proactive customer engagements. Leverage appropriate support from within the organization to uncover new sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of internal processes and procedures in order to complete the sales cycle.
  • Perform other duties and carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as new developments occur, or as needed to support the sales effort.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated expertise in a technically-based business-to-business sales environment required.
  • Quantitative orientation with computer product knowledge and experience using a variety of software applications.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Software or another statistical package is a plus.
