Job Description

The Residential Designer and Planner will work closely with the Real Estate Development team to:

  • Provide a strong understanding in interior design and planning of residential common areas of multifamily buildings.
  • Understand clientele, market and building style while making necessary adjustments to buildings.
  • Able to source products from vendors local and nationwide.
  • Excel at developing strong client relationships.
  • Provide details Scope of Work and biddable drawings to clients.
  • Deliver feedback on design standards to internal teams to understand local markets.
  • Study existing floor plans and residential unit plans to recommend changes to support better living.
  • Ability to maximize return on investment on residential renovations.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the Residential Designer and Planner position it is critical you demonstrate:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher education in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum of four years working in a similar profession as an architect or designer, preferable with Multifamily renovation knowledge.
  • Proficient with AutoCad, Photoshop and Sketch Up.
  • Clear and concise graphic, oral and written communication.
  • Ability to recognize minute details of projects.
