Sales associate for growing IT firm
About Our Client
Information technology firm that has succeeded in providing high value products and services to a diverse set of clients since 1978.
The Sales Associate will work closely with the company's Account Executives, Product Support team, and Market Development Associates to further develop sales and client satisfaction with new and existing clients. The Sales Associate will also interface with theengineering teams and operational staff in support of those objectives. The position is a mix of inside sales and sales support for established Account Executives, and the Sales Associate will be included on Account Executive client calls and meetings, proposal presentations, and solution design and discovery. The position will provide the candidate with an opportunity to enhance his or her knowledge of the IT industry, sales, and business acumen, while working towards an outside sales position.
The duties of the Sales Associate position will include:
- Product and solution research
- Deal registration
- Coordination of internal and partner resources
- Client interaction and management in support of Account Executives
- Full cycle sales for small business clients
- Basic quote and statement of work development (based on content from engineering)
- Prospecting and new account development
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is an aggressive hunter who is independent and highly self-motivated to sell technology solutions. The candidate should be comfortable with consultative sales and conversations with senior business executives and C-level IT management, and also must possess highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills. Previous experience selling technology or in the technology field is a plus.
