Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Discover, capture and develop business opportunities in the hydrocolloids industry for food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical producers.
  • Give the technical and commercial support to the distributors and producers for the development of existing business and promote new projects in order to increase the contribution to the company.
  • Analyze and report updated market statistical information: imports / exports, market prices, new products launches, analysis of competitors and relevant information for the business.
  • Design the annual sales plan for each assigned market.
  • Ensure compliance of sales targets and take all the necessary actions to comply.
  • Visit regularly to current and potential customers, ensuring the level of service defined by the company and explore new business opportunities.
  • Keep informed of food ingredient market worldwide.
  • Control the expenditure budget to ensure its compliance and report opportunely possible deviations.

The Successful Applicant

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical or Food Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales of food ingredients.
  • Fluent English and Spanish, oral and written.
