Sales Engineer - Machine Vision

Seeking a Skilled Sales Engineers to join their growing team!
About Our Client
Our successful and growing client is seeking a true hunter to assist in continuing to build their success. This is a field sales role that will require constant client follow up and communication. The successful candidate will ideally have an automation/robotics background in order to fully understand and sell their products (Sensors Product Line & Vision Product Lines).
- Performing all field sales tasks - scheduling appointments and visiting clients, product presentations etc.
- Forecasting vision solutions to end users, partners and OEMs
- Follow up on leads
- Working with and liaising with other teams such as Marketing and Engineering to maintain up to date product knowledge in order to effectively demonstrates functions to customers
- Bringing sensor leads to the Sensor Sales Engineer in order to uncover the activity with clients
- Working with the ASP Partner to ensure they are properly trained on how to sell products
- Creating plans and executing the plan for sensors and vision material
- Following up on customer's inquiries, understanding system requirements and solution based selling
- Assisting at trade shows and other marketing events
The Successful Applicant
- True sales and hunting experience
- Experience in Automation and/or robotics is a must have
- Ability to travel - this role will report into the Detroit office but will be an in field sales position overall
- Technical Degree or equivalent work experience in the automation industry
- Proven sales experience
