Job Description

Prospecting a sales candidate to contribute to the growth of the clients Pricing and Causal Retail Analytics business with a focus on new business development. The Sales Executive will be responsible for introducing and selling solutions that consist of pricing intelligence, advertising effectiveness and brand share trends to provide the clients with critical insights that give them a competitive edge. In this role you will be:

  • Understanding the effectiveness of trade marketing effort to better allocate their advertising dollars across products and retailers
  • Real-time view and alerts on competitor discounting and promotions
  • 360 view of advertising share and trends across Web, Print and On-Shelf
  • Focus on new business development, within a defined territory, selling annual subscriptions
  • Collect and input key data into CRM and forecast business accurately
  • Identify prospects needs, pain points and present solutions that add value to achieve/exceed quota
  • Create and execute on territory and key account plans
  • Manage, retain and grow relationships with clients and prospects
  • Attend sales and industry conferences

The Successful Applicant

Education: Bachelor's Degree required

  • 4+ years of success selling information services
  • Proven record of achieving new sales goals and other KPI's
  • Experience selling trade marketing solutions to retailers/manufacturers a plus
  • Strong sales prospecting and communication skills
  • Professional approach to account management and client relationships
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently, while cooperating effectively with a team
  • Regular travel required
