My client is a high profile PRESTIGE SKINCARE company. They have been in business for over 30 years and are looking to grow their LA based office.

Job Description

Develop and aggregate demand forecasts by product utilizing best practices (statistical models and software) as part of a monthly S&OP process.



Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions) and produce ad hoc analysis using pivot tables and building charts to support business needs.



Support cross-functional activities with Field, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to reconcile significant forecast and consumption variances and articulate to business partners root causes



Continually refine the forecast model to understand and reflect updated assumptive drivers.



Utilize S&OP best practices for collaboration and consensus with field, marketing, supply planning, and finance teams to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.



Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results for consumption by a cross-functional team.



Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).

The Successful Applicant

MUST have beauty/skincare/cosmetics background; NO EXCEPTIONS

2+ years in master scheduling, forecasting, planning and managing multiple product lines within global organizations with emphasis on supply chain, manufacturing and fulfillment operations.

Strong S&OP based background with flexibility to support global markets as needed; INTERNATIONAL Shipping Experience is a plus

A strategic planner with experience and insight regarding approaches to launching new products who is equally conversant at the tactical level of execution.

Experience with DRP/MRP based planning functionality with the ability to support an ERP implementation

Solutions oriented and able to identify critical paths with identified risks.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak comfortably in larger group settings

Past experience and proficiency in using regression analysis and statistical modeling

Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications, with strong Excel skills, Sales Force, and EDI Account Management experience
