Our client is a prestigious, well known bank located outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Job Description

The Sanctions Operations Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Assisting and identifying sanctions compliance risks
  • Supporting management in meeting compliance obligations
  • Providing advice on OFAC/Sanctions issues
  • Screening profiles on possible OFAC violations
  • Having fundamental knowledge of banking, financial crimes compliance, AML/BSA laws and regulations

The Successful Applicant

The Sanctions Operations Analyst must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of experience doing investigations related to AML, OFAC and Sanctions
  • Banking/financial services experience
  • Strong written, verbal and communications skills
  • CAMs certification preferred but not required

What's on Offer

This position is a 2 month project with the possibility of being extended. The Sanctions Operations Analyst will be paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience and benefits will be available through Michael Page.
